Gordon trained with Arthur Andersen in Aberdeen before moving to its Corporate Restructuring department in Glasgow where he became partner in 1993. Recent assignments have included assessing the viability of options for both lenders and borrowers, assisting Directors manage difficult banking relationships, detailed risk assessments for lenders and hands on implementation of restructuring plans. He is the former Chairman (and is still a member) of the Scottish Technical Committee of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals and has provided expert opinion in a number of litigation cases.
